Renew-MEL Laboratory
The goal of the Renew-MEL Laboratory is the creation of a workspace with all the necessary tools and equipment for the experimental development of models and prototypes in the field of industrial engineering, with particular reference to new technologies for the production of energy from renewable sources, studied and developed at the two engineering departments (DICEAM and DIIES) of Mediterranea University, and a focus on energy production from the sea. The laboratory has been founded as an experimentation place par excellence for new technologies for the production of energy from renewable sources and their evaluation, and aims at the promotion of sustainable and eco-compatible solutions with particular attention to subsequent use in industrial contextes.
